More than 10 outlets across Europe, Asia, and North America covered our $6M valuation and closed alpha last week. Among them: Tech.eu, Tech in Asia, Unite.AI, Mobidictum, and a string of startup and funding desks from London to Singapore.
It wasn't the number of pickups, it was the mix. The attention came from a range of audiences: European and Asian tech media, an AI outlet, a games-industry site. When editors all give it space, it says the problem of running on-device AI in video games is one the market is feeling.
We already had real signals: a games-focused fund investment, alpha testing with 6 studios, a queue for the beta. The press wave is a different kind of proof, from editors with no stake in us. We take it as a checkpoint, and continue to be focused on shipping into live games and earning developer trust by building a reliable and convenient product.
To the journalists who took the idea seriously, and to everyone who read and shared: thank you. It means a lot to us!
